Social posts for Daycare
Over my time at Georgian college I had the pleasure of working with Midland small set day care and creating social media posts for them. In this slideshow I have included examples of the work I did for them and the work I did in a project for a “build your own business” assignment where I created my own fake daycare to advertise for.
The social media posts in this slideshow, showcase my skills in canva.
Adobe skills
The house photo: this image was an assignment for my graphic design class, we were given a photo of a house under construction, no brick, no garage doors, the lawn was dying, and the whole area was under development. our assignment was to take other photos and use Photoshop to create a cohesive looking put together finished home, for extra credit we could put a photo of our family in the photo.
The simpsons photo: this image was also for a graphic design assignment. We were meant to take a photo of ourselves and use Adobe Illistrator to redraw ourselves in the style of the simpsons. I chose to recreate a photo from when I was a kid wearing a sparkly dress, I chose that specific photo because I wanted to challenge myself to recreate the design of the dress.
The drinking and driving photo: In my graphic design class we were challenged to create a PSA. I chose to do mine on MADD Canada and drinking and driving. This assignment was done using Photoshop.
The map: Lastly we have another graphic design assignment. We were instructed to use a combination of Photoshop, Illistrator and Indesign to create a tourism map of a city of our choice. We had to highlight 4 tourist destinations, recreate their logos, create a map of the city and write copy for each of the destinations. I was very proud of this assignment because of the pirate theme I decided to put into it.
